How I Met Your Mother – (me spoilera)

Ndër këto seri, sigurisht “How I Met Your Mother”!

“Kids, this is How I Met Your Aunt”

Nota personale: 5/5

How I Met Your Mother 9×01/02 – Review

vlcsnap-2013-09-30-20h38m10s140It was worth waiting for. No, seriously, Cristin Milioti aka ‘The Mother’, blew my mind. She was fantastic. All she had last season was a single line and nothing more. We could’ve judge her just by her looks. She had no major TV/movie role, and honestly I had no opinion, but listening to others how she was ‘meh’ made me think like them too… Contrary to the opinions of some of my friends – the mother was supposed to be someone known, big name on the screen; I liked the fresh face that I’ve never had seen before.

Anyway, she was amazing. Her chemistry with Lily was awesome. None of the characters, ever, have had a similar conversation with Lily. She blended just right into the show. The scene with Ted was fantastic, too. I liked what the writers did, putting the show a year after the wedding. It’ll help getting away from the wedding boredom.

But, what I liked the most from this episode was the character of Curtis. Having already been familiar with  Roger Bart, acting on ‘Revenge’, it was a great feeling seeing him again on the screen. And I loved his character. That scene with him, Ted, and Lilly was very funny. Especially the last part.

What got on my nerves was that ‘problem with the common cousin’ of Robin and Barney. Thankfully that ended pretty soon, because it was, well, it was dumb. I didn’t like that at all, and not anything stupid in this season, please.

About the season… It will be boring seeing a weekend explored during a whole season. I’m not too fond of this idea, never been. But, those forward-flashes with Ted and the mother might be helpful. I still trust the writers, and I hope they’ll do a fine job.

I think this season will be more of a romance than a comedy, and I have nothing against this. I’d love to see it that way, because, let’s face it – it’s the time!

Oh, and I don’t want to forget Marshall and his adorable companion, Daphne. Great chemistry between them, loved every scene involving these two. However, I didn’t like that whole problem with removing a photo from the internet. That was dull, just like the ‘cousins’ problem.

I’m glad it’s back, and I’m really looking forward to see Cristin Miloti shine again. She fascinated me in this first episode.

How I Met Your Mother 8×18 – Review

vlcsnap-2013-02-26-17h59m08s88Well, it’s time to move on. Thank God that this is coming to an end. At least for now, if they don’t come up with a new ‘smart’ idea about prolonging the series, we might have the Mrs. Mosby in the next couple of episode; or, at least some information about her.

The Playbook was gone, and appears for one last time just to disappear again. It was fun once again seeing Barney with his new apprentice in action. But, it was necessary for that to come up, one last ‘fight’ between Robin and Barney. That honesty from Barney was something we didn’t see before, and a new phase for him. I suppose we’re going to continue seeing a kind of a ‘bipolar’ Barney episode after episode.

I miss seeing the little Marvin, one of the cutest babies on TV in the last years. I think this is a new stage for the series, if all of the Ted’s girlfriends are gone FOREVER. With Barney engaged, and Ted off the market, we can expect a new a more serious approach of the show, more romantic, and more about the mother. I have to admit that Jeanette was cute, and necessary. Her character perfectly fits the story.

How I Met Your Mother 8×04–TV Review

how-i-met-your-mother 8x04Still there’s no news on the mother. It’s more about the godfather(s). This episode was funny, but it’s getting tired. It’s taking too long to meet the mother and honestly right now it’s the only thing that is keeping me watching the show. Yet, I still watch it. I do.

The baby has changed the format of the show. Now it’s getting more ‘serious’ and ‘less funny’. I don’t know how that isn’t impacting the viewers who still are in a solid number. The ending was serious and maybe touching for some. There were few jokes during that race to become Marvin’s godfather, but that’s all.

I know maybe I’m asking too much from the show, and I’m probably right because I got tired. But, there’s no excitement like it used to be before. I don’t really care for Monday nights anymore. It’s getting boring. There’s no new plot that’s gonna last a few episodes like there were Ted’s and Barney’s girlfriend, or some dude that Robin was dating. There isn’t any interesting guest star. There isn’t any step made toward the mother. I’m disappointed.

How I Met Your Mother 8×03–TV Review

how-i-met-your-mother-08x03

It’s becoming more and more like Lost. It’s lost in the time, or at least I’m lost. I completely lost the timeline since the first episode of the season. Did Ted met and talked to ‘the mother’ at the station? How did the story went after that? Didn’t he leave Victoria that day? Man, I have to get back and watch the probably the whole seventh season.

It was funny, with Marshall and Lily stepping back in the center of action and keeping us off the track of the main question ‘who’s the mother’?

Finding nanny for Marvin, especially that interview with Marshall’s hometown girl, that dialogue was cool. Then the story about the train, and the Mary Poppins nany scenes were pretty funny, mainly because of her accent especially at the end of the episode. Barney’s back too, but same as Ted’s story, it got complicated too. Did he marry anyone, or was he marrying anyone?
Did the wedding happened or we’re still waiting for it? Didn’t Ted leave the wedding to go and get Victoria? Seriously ‘what the hell happened’?

Anyway Marshall’s and Lily’s baby is one of the cutest on nowadays shows.

How I Met Your Mother 8×01 – Review

Is it just me, or do you really feel that this might be the latest season of this series? And I would really hate to find out who was the mother in the latest episode. I’m expecting they will give us at least a few episodes to ‘enjoy’ watching the Mother! It will be nice if they share some of the episodes with the Mother and Ted. Looking back at the first episode of this season, this is looking very probable.

The scenes, the connection of the story told on this episode was put nicely, that cupped with a fantastic ending, that amazing snapshot. That rose our (my) expectations through the roof after last season’s disappointing finale. The episode was pretty funny too. Marshall and Lilly constantly sleeping, Ted explaining the relation with Robin to Quinn, and replacing here in the pictures. Also adding that romantic part in the end; both scenes; the one with Robin, and the other one with Ted. It was pretty amazing. I liked also Tom Lennon’s character, too. A great start of the season, I just hope they don’t go disappointing us right next Monday, but mostly I hope that wedding won’t be lasting two seasons. That would be utterly stupid.
